The Praying Little Girl
In Nishtulla, ACP supports a daycare center in a Roma neighborhood. The children are not only offered free play and a warm meal, but also age-appropriate tutoring. This leads to better performance in school. Their chances of getting an education increase and new perspectives open up for their future.
The children also get to know Jesus. Their families are invited to attend weekly church services and community events. This includes Kejsi's family. The eight-year-old is the youngest of four children. Her family has been receiving long-term, intensive support from our staff, as the main problem was her father's alcohol addiction. When drunk, he became so violent that her mother had to flee the house with the children.
God intervenes
At the age of four, Kejsi could not speak a single word. She needed a lot of attention, which she received at the daycare center. Kejsi has since developed very well. She is making great progress at school, opening up more and more, and has become a true prayer warrior. The girl prays for other children and also for her family—so fervently that she even moves her father to tears. Our team was also able to pray with him a few months ago. Since then, his life has changed.
However, the impact of our daycare center goes far beyond individual destinies. In recent years, the atmosphere in the entire neighborhood has improved significantly. Even the local authorities have noticed a decline in crime. We are very grateful for God's intervention in the lives of the people of Nishtulla.
