With and without words

TOGO
Our evangelists in Togo are making great sacrifices to bring the Good News to where it belongs: to those who have not yet heard it.

They go to areas that were previously considered unreached for the gospel and are confronted with strong occultism and magic cults. Sama was on his way to an evangelisation by motorbike. He never got there. He was involved in a road accident and was hospitalised with serious injuries. The doctors predicted a long stay. We prayed for him and many people joined the urgent call to prayer.

This did not remain without effect. As our partner tells us, Sama was discharged from hospital a short time later, much to the amazement of the doctors and medical staff. That was a proclamation of the power of our God - even without big words.

A planned event took place in Bafilo, a small town in the north of the country. The evangelists boldly preached the word of God. From the mostly Muslim audience, 50 people decided to live with Jesus. Our partner reports that the people not only gladly received the good news, but were actually longing for it. There was great joy and one of the women said: "Bafilo was saved today."
