Larissa is sorely missed
MOLDOVA
Larissa asks for prayer from her hospital bed, along with her 200 children who miss her. We thank you from the bottom of our hearts that you want to stand up for her.
Larissa, our teacher in Moldova, is suffering from cancer. Larissa runs a homework help project for around 200 children every day. The children are also given food - for many of them this is the only meal of the day because they come from very modest backgrounds.
After the lessons, Larissa also tells them Bible stories. And when they go home, they can take bread with them that is baked in our bakery.
Larissa has been involved in our project since 2015. She is now suffering from cancer and needs prayer. The children are eagerly waiting for her because there is no one else to take on this task. She has already had an operation, but now she needs time to recover. And that won't happen as quickly as we would like ...
We pray ...
that Larissa heals, recovers and regains her strength,
that the cancer does not come back and does not metastasise,
for patience for the children and a deputy in the meantime.
