Awakening of Faith

The Bible students in Krasnoyarsk, Russia, have had an intense year. Their character and calling have been shaped and strengthened by many trials. Igor, a former drug addict, has become a passionate evangelist. Even on his train journeys home, he has led people to Christ. His desire to evangelise in prisons is blocked by a nationwide ban at the moment – we pray that God will open new doors.

In Solnechno, a district of Krasnoyarsk, the students are establishing a new church. Young people are coming into contact with the faith through table tennis and Bible discussions. Adults are also finding their way to the church: Last weekend, six non-believers came to visit – a new record!

And then there is Dasha, a single mother of four children. She graduated from Bible school and was wondering what to do next. A man from the church has now proposed to her. Now the two are preparing for their wedding – and Dasha's children are happy for them. A miracle in the midst of everyday life.
