Small Light, Big Impact
n Beryosovka, a suburb of Omsk, many young people suffer from drug addiction. Time and again, young people die from overdoses. The small local community of eight Christians does not want to accept this, but instead wants to offer a way out of this misery.
At Christmas, they held four events: a worship concert and meetings in two children's homes and a boarding school. Around 300 children heard about Jesus during this time. Many experienced healing fellowship, Christian music, and loving encouragement for the first time.
In addition to his work with children, Alexander, the pastor of the community, also works in a funeral home. This allows him to preach at funerals, which he would otherwise have little access to. In this way, several hundred mourners recently heard the saving message of the gospel.
