Integrity Is Key
Our partner deliberately chose the topic of integrity for his presentation—because corruption is part of everyday life for people in South Sudan. For many of the local evangelists, integrity is not a theory but faithfulness lived out in daily life.
A large number of them are supported by ACP and work under challenging conditions. For a long time, visible results were slow to come. Nevertheless, they faithfully proclaim the Gospel and remain committed to their mission, even in the face of personal hostility.
It is precisely this steadfastness that is making a difference.
In the meantime, new churches have been established. Evangelists are even active in police training, where they share biblical teachings. The fact that government structures are open to this demonstrates the trust that has grown over the years. Others are active in schools and hospitals.
