Jesus in the Red Light District

THAILAND

A door is opening for ACP in Pattaya. There is an opportunity to bring the Good News to a very dark place. We pray for the success of the mission.

Pattaya is known for its parties, nightlife, red-light district, and sex tourism. Dimly lit bars dominate the cityscape, and crime is rampant. People from all over the world travel here for their own personal pleasure. Although prostitution is officially banned, tens of thousands of sex workers live in Pattaya. The city is constantly fighting against exploitation, human trafficking, and forced prostitution.

In the spring of this year, a team of 20 missionaries from different parts of the world, led by ACP will travel to Pattaya. In cooperation with local churches, they will carry out missions in the red-light district, as well as in the city's prisons and slum areas. In addition, children's and youth programs as well as outreach in marketplaces and on beaches are planned. In this way, the gospel will be brought to various social areas and classes of the city. The numerous small initiatives will conclude with several days of evangelism.

that God will prepare people's hearts,

that the Holy Spirit will guide and direct the team,

that many people will come to know Jesus.
